Confidence & Hope

The Truth is … whether you are male or female, you were creatively designed for Romance, and The Lord is deeply interested, not only in your Holiness, but also in the depth of your Happiness. After all, Joy is a fruit of the Spirit!

And it just makes sense to know exactly what His plan for us looks like, ya? Men and women are equal in value, yet different. Both are created in the Image of God to work together in harmony, and each is designed for a unique role in the relationship. One is creatively designed to lead, and his partner’s trust and respect are essential for him to be able to lead well. The other is creatively designed to follow, and her partner’s love and understanding are essential if she is to follow well.

Our Confidence & Hope is in Our Creator

He’s always there for you to enjoy, and He wants you to enjoy one another, too! If He created the whole idea of Marriage, then He must be invested in seeing Love come to fruition in your life. For your pleasure, but also as a light to show the world just how very much He loves us all!

I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness
of the Lord in the land of the living. (Psalm 27:13)

I couldn’t do this work without hope … and the realization that God is in everything I do.
He’s the one Who does the healing and growing.

But I get to help, and it’s Wonderful!

Conversations With God

The Lord doesn’t want us to wander aimlessly through Life, making mistake after mistake. So He talks with us. We only need to train our ears to hear Him.

“The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep.
The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice.
He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them,
and his sheep follow him because they know his voice.” (John 10:2-4)

When I first meet a couple, I don’t know the details of their next Chapter. But I know it’s beginning for them. If they can only imagine it, it’s going to be amazing.

Because whenever the Lord puts His hand to something, it’s always more than we could ever hope, ask, or imagine …. (Ephesians 3:20-21)

And you must realize by now … my hope is high, I ask a lot … and I have a really, really Romantic Imagination.

… yet my Romantic Imagination is nothing compared to The Lord’s!
