Don’t be surprised when …

The thief doesn’t want you to have Double Goodness. He doesn’t ever want you to know that Your Dream is God’s Possibility! And he does everything he can to distract you. To draw your attention away from Jesus. Because he knows Jesus will tell you that there is a Really Big Difference between the enemy’s goals and The Father’s goals for your life:

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy;
I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10

Don’t be surprised when the thief tries to make
you believe Your Dream is beyond all hope!

What does that look like for you right now?

  • Are you feeling defeated in one or more areas of your life?
  • Or are you able to recognize what’s happening in the spiritual realm?

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.Romans 12:21

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because The One who is in you is Greater than the one who is in the world. 1 John 4:4

Double Goodness

According to that old Doublemint Gum commercial, Double Goodness automatically includes Double Pleasure and Double Fun.

“Double your pleasure. Double your fun.
With double good, double good Doublemint Gum.”

Okay. I know that’s a pretty far stretch. But you know how it goes when one of those silly jingles gets stuck in your head, yes?

You know, they’re actually right though. Not about gum, of course.
But about what God wants us to experience living in His Love.

Instead of your shame
    you will receive a
double portion,
and instead of disgrace
you will rejoice in your inheritance.
And so you will inherit a
double portion in your land,
and everlasting joy will be yours. Isaiah 61:7

Do you realize what happens when Our Creator doubles something good?

Amazing Things Happen

A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. (Luke 6:45)

Want to see amazing things happen?

  1. Notice your self-talk. Fill your heart with good things. Because whatever you focus on is magnified and will – sooner or later – show up in your reality.
  2. Make sure what you’re telling yourself is The Truth about Who God is for you and the good things He wants to do in your life. Let’s magnify that!
  3. Replace any negative, self-defeating language with The Promises of God from Scripture. Use the sword of the Spirit to overcome (Ephesians 6:10-20).
